ETD The effect of heat exchangers on hot and cold reservoirs as the thermoacoustic device performance has been done. The position of the hot heat exchanger (HHE) is close to the end of the stack in a heat reservoir and the water are flowed on the minute of 30 th . Meanwhile the position of the cold heat exchanger (CHE) in the cold reservoir is varied as 15 cm, 20 cm, 25 cm, 30 cm to 35 cm from the loudspeaker and the water are flowed on the minute of 90 th . In this case, the total time for the data taking is 120 minutes. Thermoacoustic refrigerator device consists of a 10 inch loudspeaker, the resonator in the form of PVC pipe with 80 cm in length and 5,25 cm in diameter, and stack of squash with length of 6 cm. The loudspeaker get input signal with a frequency of 103 Hz and a power of 80 W and 90 W. According to the temperature changes that occur in the hot and cold reservoir during the thermoacoustic refrigerator device operation, the CHE optimum position are shown at a distance of 35 cm from the sound source with the largest �TC is 7 °C for 80 W input power and 7,2 °C for 90 W input power. These results are consistent with the calculation of COPC (Carnot coefficient of performance), where both variations have the smallest COPC.
