Summary: | of Limitations fuel caused by the global crisis resulted in unstable fuel prices,
which led to the fraud efforts in terms of fuel usage. One of the rigging that often
occurs is the fuels selling at sea. Therefore, it is necessary to make a measurement
system that is able to perform remote monitoring of the fuel consumption on the
marine vessel. The The purpose of this study is to design a measurement and monitoring system on the marine vessel fuel supply system. Designing starts from the analysis of the operational system, the determination of the specification used, designing the monitoring system architecture, RTU programming, designing of the data receiver block that includes database design and data viewer program and by conducting testing of the system. receiving Design results obtained from the measurement and monitoring system design using Micromotion CMF025 2400S Flow Transmitter with Coriolis Flow Sensors, Bristol Controlwave SCADA RTU, Fastrack M1306B GSM modem at the Sender Block. On block, MySQL is used as database designer to accommodate the data and Microsoft Visual Studio to create a data viewer program. At the stage of the testing, data is sent from the sender to the receiver block using SMS services with an average delay of 20 seconds and the average time of system response to SMS command is 34 seconds. |
