總結:Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (SHIA) is the only airport which handle the highest aircraft movements in Indonesia by handling 55,7 million passengers and 380.760 aircrafts in 2012. SHIA current condition which only have two parallel runways and three terminal buildings is absolutely could not handle the rising air travel demands. Therefore, it is necessary to find some steps in runway optimization in order to accommodate the rising demands. This study was conducted to analyze the value of north runway capacity and aircraft movements on peak hour for the next 5 and 10 years (year 2017 and 2022) by using time series (linear extrapolation) as the forecasting method based on historical data of aircraft movements which was obtained from PT. Angkasa Pura II (Persero). Afterward, the forecasting result was conversed to aircraft movements on peak hour by using Pignataro and NPIAS methods. In order to estimate the value of runway capacity, FAA method and Modelling Development of Aircraft Operation by Horonjeff were used. FAA method is used for estimating the value of runway optimum capacity, while the latter is used for estimating the value of runway existing capacity. The result shows quite a big difference between both methods in estimating the runway capacity, which is 90 movements by using FAA method, while 45 movements by using Modelling Development of Aircraft Operation. On that account, it can be concluded that the runway needs to be optimized so that it can overtake the optimum capacity and also to fully serve the aircraft movements on peak hour for the next 5 years (50 movements) and 10 years (61 movements). Based on analysis result, runway optimization can be done by optimizing the operational aspect (setting the minimum separation) and physical aspect (adding rapid exit taxiway) which can enhance the runway capacity to 61 movements per hour.
