Description
Summary:The aims of this research are to know rain season variability, productivities rainfedrice variability, correlation of rain seasonal variabilities and mean seasonal rainfedrice productivity, and referral patterns according to the planting season variability at Purworejo. Method used in the research was statistical analysis descriptive that consist of mean, standard deviation, varians of rain seasonal and productivities rainfedrice to describe each variabilities. Correlation test used to know determine the relationship between the two variables, and descriptive analysis of referral patterns to determine appropriate planting.. Data that is used as secondary data, such as daily rainfall data from 8 rainfall stations, grouped into seasonal rainfall data and monthly productivity data paddy every district. Throughout the observation periods of 1990 until 2012. The result of the research indicate that (1) Variation in dry season rainfall is higher than the rainy season and which is 0,7 for dry season, rainy season 0,3. (2) The variability of the productivity of rice has an average coefficient of variation of the dry season 19,86 and the rainy season 5,73. (3) The tendency of relationships with rainfall in the dry season rice productivity is higher, compared to the rainy season. (4) Referral cropping patterns in rainfed lowland rice Purworejo according to the classification of class II, which is 1 times the arable fields and 2 times planted with upland padi gogo rancah.
