Summary:In recent years, the development of the health care industry had grow and develop very fast and dynamic, thus requiring the readiness of market participants to continue to take steps innovative and strategic remedial actions by hospital management. Therefore, in order to win the market competition that very competitive, as one of the government hospitals are oriented to the public interest, RSUP Fatmawati have to do with the study and application of good vision, mission, values, strategic direction and objectives to be achieved by the hospital. Balanced scorecard as a strategic planning method based on company's vision, mission, values, strategic direction, and purpose, is one of the appropriate methods that can be used to measure various indicators in four perspectives that there is such a financial perspective, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth. Some of the indicators used in the design of the balanced scorecard is created and compiled research by analyzing the vision and mission set forth by management of RSUP Fatmawati, values and goals to be achieved by Fatmawati hospital, as well as the strategic direction that want to target by the department of strategic management of RSUP Fatmawati. Then by analyzing the causal relationships in all balanced scorecard perspectives, and analyze the results of measurements in the design of the balanced scorecard has been determined, is expected to improve the performance of strategic Fatmawati, and increase hospital productivity. Thus the use of a balanced scorecard approach to the right will help give direction and guidance in setting the strategic management of the hospital policy further to the right, for the sake of continuity Fatmawati hospital both in the short and long term company�s direction.
