| Summary: | On the cultivation of fish , 60-70% of the cost production is used for feed
costs. Efforts to reduce the cost of feed, can use alternative feed. Alternative
catfish feed produtcs ASTROPAKANIK is capable of producing protein catfish
feed 28 % at Rp 6500.00/kg . However , high protein content and low prices has
not been able to compete with manufacturers feed products. Quality attributes that
need to be considered will include the nature, color, shape, size, texture, aroma,
durability, and packaging products. This study aims to determine feed quality
attributes that are considered important and to know what the consumer needs and
to know the value (value) and the level of performance of the product concept
developed alternative fish feed .
Products of an industry are required to always evolve so as to help improve
the industry's revenues through increased value ( value) of the product . Product
development method used is Value Engineering is considering the value of the
product by focusing on the needs of consumers and also the cost of making the
product .
Results of this study states that the quality attributes that are considered the
top three consumers is important attribute properties , aroma , and protein content
. Consumers want a product feed to the nature of floating , fragrant aroma of fish
feed , 28 % protein content . Highest performance level occupied by the concept
of product C with the value 7778.2. Highest cost B occupied by the concept of Rp
78,748,000,-. Highest value of the concept of alternative feed products
ASTROPAKANIK catfish is the concept of C with value 9.30 x10 � 5. |
