Summary:The process of creating coil winding in repairing the electric motor begins with the process manual by wrapping wire into a framework that has been customized. This process develop by creating winding equipment by the ankle to rotate the frame and the counting is done with a mechanical counter. Development of this machine then turns towards the automated system with assisted chip that can be programmed so that the motor operates to rotate the coils, sensors detect the number of coils and relays are used as switch on-off the motor, so that the process can be done without human labor. This research aims to create an electric motor winding machine is controlled using a microcontroller chip regulator wrapped around the motor to the desired number of windings, so that the process can be run quickly and automatically. The research was done by creating an experiment to make a motor winding machine has high efficiency, easy to operate and use the automated system. Experiments done with making coils with various number and size of the windings. Materials used to create this tool is a circuit of motor controllers, coils winding tools in various sizes using wood materials, frame by using materials such as iron rods, as well as the software used to create the automation system using CodeVisionAVR C Compiler. Analysis of this experiment isperformance analysis based on an electronic circuit of tools that have been made, analysis materials and the analysis of tools in making coils. The results of this research is to get a rewinding machine that have the success of making coils with the accuracy of the number of windings of 100 %, low electrical power in the operation and build a system which can facilitate the industrial of maintenance and repairing electric motors in making coils.
