Summary:Culture value is sums of concepts live in most society�s mind consist of things that considered valuable, precious, and important in life so it can function as a guidance to lead people in a society for a direction and orientation. In cultural community and social group ( family, tribes, and social community), it is a must to identify every children born based on historical background as it will become a united heredity to the following generation. This pattern has been evolved as time and spaces change. Therefore, culture needs to be understood from its own view and it is known that history evolution from a certain culture is a fundamental to help us understand a human being from a certain culture. Human behave based on several limitations consist of norms, role, and culture. Norms are an agreement about daily life that make every human being�s interaction predicted and organized. Role is an occupation that managed by norms about how the individual shows proper behavior in certain condition and position. Meanwhile, culture is seen as a program and a set of rules agreed by society to control an individual behavior in society or certain community. Further, it also works as value, belief, and custom that accepted by majority of people. Value, belief, and custom are inherited to the next generation. This psychology research uses ethnography approach to focus on examining a set of pattern and natural behavior shown by the society without reducing the meaning and purpose of selecting location at Tenganan Pegringisan. Through this qualitative research, the writer also explores and uses most of the time to collect complete data based on the perspective of the research subject. Furthermore, in conducting this qualitative research, the researcher tends to focus the discussion in the daily behavior of society in their routines activity they way they are. The researcher uses two techniques to collect data for this qualitative research consists as interactive and non interactive method or data collection strategy. Interactive method consists of detail interview, observation that is important in every stages, and focus group discussion. The non-interactive method deals with questionnaire, document filing or archiving (content analysis), and also no role observation. Conclusion: Based on the research results and the explanation is found that the formation of ethnic identity Age Balinese on Tenganan Pegringsingan, Krangasem, Bali can be divided into four, which is : (1) the pattern formation of ethnic identity based norms, religiosity, and cultural locality, (2) the pattern formation is based on the role of ethnic identity and parental bloodlines, (3) the pattern formation of ethnic identity through of kinship ties in the community, and (4) the pattern formation of ethnic identity based upon traditional cultural inheritance through stratification of society. Ethnic attitudes appear that the feeling of the individual as part of a community group Tenganan Pegringsingan and its attitude toward other community groups. Finally, the presence of ethnic behavior patterns typical behavior in society which is prefers Tenganan Pegringsingan duties and responsibilities as a priority to the interests of indigenous peoples than perindividu.
