5.000 W FM SOLID STATE POWER AMPLIFIER
The purpose of this study is to make 5000W FM SSPA which is more economical and highly efficiency. The high efficiency is obtained by using LDMOS power transistor that can work on a commercial FM radio frequency 87.5-108 MHz. The 5kW power amplifier generated by the combined of 6 modules 1kW power a...

Summary: | The purpose of this study is to make 5000W FM SSPA which is more economical and highly efficiency. The high efficiency is obtained by using LDMOS power transistor that can work on a commercial FM radio frequency 87.5-108 MHz. The 5kW power amplifier generated by the combined of 6 modules 1kW power amplifier using microstriplines based on Wilkinson and Gysel power divider methods. The power divider is applied to the teflon PCB and FR-4 materials. The results show that the power amplifier achieves a peak 79.21% efficiency with a gain of 24.72 dB on single mosfet power amplifier and 70% efficiency on a series 6 units power amplifiers. |
