Summary: | An information technology system can be said to be successful or suitable for use by a company if it meets certain factors. The factors that must be in accordance with the characteristics of the information system itself and the user. DeLone and McLean (2003) has provided an overview of the factors that can be used to assess whether an appropriate information system has been used in a company. These factors is the system quality, information quality, service quality, use, user satisfaction and net benefits.
This study attempts to examine the factors of the model of DeLone and McLean (2003) were modified to eliminate the use and add the computer anxiety. The research was conducted at the PDAM in DIY. Object of study here is the active users SIKOMPAK with the sample by 65 respondents. This study uses analysis tools Partial Least Square (PLS) to test the suitability of the proposed model, in addition this study tested the hypothesis related to the factors that influence the success of the information technology systems SIKOMPAK at the PDAM in DIY.
Results of this study show that the model proposed in this study as a whole is quite good in explaining the relation with the implementation of information technology systems success SIKOMPAK at the PDAM in DIY. Based on the test results obtained using PLS stating that the system user satisfaction is significantly affected by the system quality, information quality, and service quality. Computer anxiety as an additional factor has not been able to explain significant user satisfaction factors. Net benefits are significantly influenced by the user satisfaction. |
