| Summary: | Photography is a field of science and work in the society which is popular in
many developed and developing countries, including in France. This leads people to
an awareness that the knowledge about photography is necessary. Learn about the
terms of photography is one of the most important matters in photography studies. In
French society, a photography term is considered as a form of language variation
since there are many loanwords borrowed from many foreign languages. The purpose
of this thesis, French photography register, is to classify the lexicons into various
categories, describe the relation meaning, the field meaning, outline the process of
word formation and word classification, and also the mixed codes that occur in the
photography register. Based on the analysis, registers photography posses a semantic
relation which consists of a relation meaning, and the field meaning. Word formation
in photography registers develops from the process of matching, absorption,
affixation, and abbreviation. The mixed code that can be found in French
photography register appears in the form of words, compound words, phrases, and
abbreviation. |
