Thesis titled \"Register of Beauty Salon: Socio-Semantic Analysis\" examines linguistic variation based on usage factors. Differences in types of activities in people's life that leads to variations in language cannot be separated from the social aspect. However, in a narrow scope, the use of language variation can also appear due to environmental factors of work. Each type of work definitely has a different term for what they use in other work. This, has forced people to use specific terms that related to their job. The data used in this research came from oral sources and written sources. For oral sources, the data obtained through conversations between researchers and informants associated with salons. For written sources, obtained from several sources writing discourse in the mass media, books, and catalogs. This research was conducted in three phases: the first is the data collection phase
