Summary: | Now the need for electrical energy is an absolute, for it should be a
requirement for monitoring electrical energy by having Wattmeter
measurements, limits power usage and power protection Power. Spending
electricity needs could be easily monitored. In monitoring electrical energy in
this thesis project was designed with system block, where the system is
monitored not only one path. But in this study using 3 different lines of
electric current. It is expected that the system obtained can measure power,
power monitoring and protection is performed on each block. The system is
also expected to be applied in the industrial world, where power usage
monitoring system can be monitored remotely by using PC control.
Is a tool designed gauges and multi-channel current measurements
combined with working voltage electricity used. Values measured currents
and voltages are measured and calculated by a formula equation and produces
a measurement of power in units of watts to each channel.
Tests have been done wattmeter be obtained a multi- channel
instrument capable of measuring power from 1 VA to 1550 VA with a value
of 4.48 % error on load testing using a 150 watt incandescent bulb, 300watt
hand drill, CRT TV 75 watt , 90 watt Notebook Charger, Rice cooker 350
watt, 40 watt soldering, energy saving lamps 8 watt and 15 -watt energy -
saving lamps. |
