Summary: | Good forest management activity needs an accurate and precise management
plan in order to ensure forest sustainability, both for yield (timber productivity) and
forest ecology. To identity the quantity forest product needs tree volume estimation
instrument. This study was there for conducted for building volume equations and
thinning volume table for teakwood on BH Banglean, KPH Randublatung Perum
Perhutani Unit I Central Java.
This research has two equations which were equations with an independent
variable (dbh) using Berkhout V=α(D)

model and estimated volume equation with
two independent variable (dbh-h) using Schumacher Hall V=α(D)

Equation modeling was performed using the data of 190 trees and 95 trees to validate
the equation model. Result one stimated volume equation would be examined for its
model acceptance equation using following criteria: coefficient of determination (R

),
adjusted R square (Radj

), t test and F test signification. Validation test was test in
accordance with criteria of aggregate deviation (SA) and mean deviation (SR).
Validated equation was used to compose the volume table.
