Nowadays, technology positioning method GNSS RTK Radio is developing. It has the capability for three-dimensional positioning in real time with high accuracy. This method will certainly be used for data acquisition in the great scale situations mapping fastly. Besides that, like another GNSS situations mapping, the ability of RTK Radio GNSS have constraints capabilities in area with high obstruction. The goal of this aplicative activity to review Radio RTK GNSS capabilities for scale 1:1000 situations mapping. This research was performed by using three units of GNSS Topcon GR-3 and one unit of GNSS Topcon Hiper II. This research located in Klepu, Banjararum Village, District Kalibawang, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta with an area of measuring approximately 252.714 m2. Site selection was based on the consideration that this location has various topography and environmental conditions of obstruction. RTK Radio GNSS measurement was performed with a density of approximately 1 to 3 meters, while high environmental obstruction areas were performed by adjusting the density of the site conditions. Mapping test was performed after RTK Radio GNSS resulted. Planimetric test was performed by using measurement tape, while height/contour test was performed by using Total Situation. Measurements result of detail situation points indicates horizontal accuracy about 3 to 67 mm in range and vertical accuracy centred around 4 to 115 SNI topographic map. The test result showed that for a detailed map planimetric measurement at this location showed 96.67% appropriate with the SNI specifications topographic maps, while for height test showed appropriate with the SNI specifications topographic maps entirely. Refers to the results of the test, the product of the situation map with 1:1000 scale appropriated with the specifications of SNI standard topographic maps. It could be said that the GNSS RTK Radio method applicated to 1:1000 scale situations mapping in the study area.
