Summary: | In some clinical situation, repair of composite restoratios is a treatment of
choice. Improving the bond strength between new and old composite usually
requires surface treatment including intermediate bonding agents. The purpose of
this study was to investigate the effect of silane on the shear bond strength and
failure type of nanohybrid composite resin and sonic vibration bulkfill composite
resin repair.
Sixteen nanohybrid composite resin specimens were assigned to aging
condition, immersion in citric acid at 3709C, pH 3 for 1 week. Two intermediate
