Results : No significant correlations resulted between (1) parents attitude and childrens snack preference (P= 0,983) and (2) parents socio demographic characteristic and parents attitude (P>0.05). There is correlation between parents socio-economic status and childrens snack preference (P=0.048). Conclusion : Childrens snack preference is not affected much by parents attitude. Parents social demographic status does not play a significant role in shaping parents attitude. Parents with higher socioeconomic status tend to have children with lesser preference towards snacks.
