Bamboo is fast growing species and be able to be harvested in two years old for furniture and handicraft material. Bamboo legi (Gigantochloa atter (Hassk.) Kurz) is one of the commercial species with many superiorities. The quality of furniture and handicraft are affected by several factors such as age and stem part. The aim of thus study was to investigate the quality of three and four years old of bamboo legi with different stem part as material for furniture and handicraft. This study was designed in accordance with Completely Randomized Design with the two factors, which were age and stem part. Age factor comprised of three and four years old of bamboo, while stem part factor consist of positions on bottom, middle and top. The examined parameters and supporting information were properties of physical, mechanical, and adhesive. The data was analyzed by analysis of variances (ANOVA) with 1% and 5% of significant level and continued by Honestly Significant Difference Tukey.
