Description
Summary:ECG signal analysis has been analyzed using Wavelet Transform to get the pattern and characteristics of ECG signals based on the pattern of CWT and energy of decomposition .Mother wavelet used is Coiflet 5. Selection of mother wavlet Coiflet 5 based on wavelet shape similarity with ECG signal. Result of Continuous Wavelet Transform show patterns of ECG signals . In a normal ECG , ECG signal patterns appear periodically on scale of 14-144 . For abnormal ECG,the pattern show random signals pattern . Discrete Wavelet Transformation give different characteristics based on the value of the energy in the frequency band of decomposition . In a normal ECG, the highest energy of all subject contained in D3 with frequency range of 8-16 Hz . For the abnormal ECG signal of Atrial Fibrillation , the highest energy value contained in the approximation component with frequency range of 0-4 Hz. For Supraventricular Arhytmia has variation energy in the frequency range 0-4. From the process can be seen that the normal ECG, the highest energy of decomposition dominated at a frequency of 8-16 Hz and for abnormal ECG dominated at lower frequencies
