Description
Summary:The research of half-life shift (T 1/2) of beta radiation ( ) emitter on Nuclear spent fuel (NSF) as the result of bound state beta decay ( ) had been conducted along with nuclide fraction percentage and radiation dose percentage for every emitter in the process. The analytical calculation of T1/2 was conducted systematically and evaluated on stellar environment, while for the calculation on nuclide fraction percentage and radiation dose percentage was conducted by processing the resulting data from simulation of program SRAC with COREBN module for PWR reactor made by Westinghouse & Mitsubishi and fission yield data for uranium-235 and uranium-238. The result of this research indicates that the is only effective to samarium-151 with T1/2 acceleration of 93.19 % from T1/2 = 90 years becomes T1/2 = 6.131 years, while for nuclide fraction percentage and radiation dose percentage of samarium-151 radiation respectively are 0.016917369 % and 0.000332427 %.
