The dissertation is titled \"The Effect of Land Utilization Type on Surface Erosion and Deposition in the Wuno watershed, Central Sulawesi Province\", aimed to assess: (1) the relationship of precipitation (rainfall) to the flow (runoff) with a model of the Wuno watershed ANSWERS , as a basis to determine the amount of erosion and deposition, (2) the influence of land utilization type on surface erosion and deposition, and (3) the spatial distribution patterns of erosion and deposition on the surface of the land element as a parameter influences the land utilization type in the form of a map. Survey method used in this study to collect primary data include: moisture, permeability, texture, depth of solum, organic matter, slope, stream gradient, stream width, direction and intensity of rainfall runoff, temperature, as well as secondary data include: channel roughness, and land utilization type map obtained through interpretation Indonesian RBI, Landsat imagery and field as input. Processing and data analysis using the ANSWERS model of each element measuring 250 meters x 250 meters. Meanwhile, analysis of the spatial distribution of erosion and deposition surface with Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The results showed that a small rainfall, may likely result in a large runoff, either directly or indirectly. Controlling factor that may explain the differences in flow is a factor of soil, land utilization types and steep slopes, represented by the Bunga sub-watershed and Wenondi sub-watershed. Under the influence of land utilization type surface erosion and deposition are categorized into three types, namely: (1) categories of secondary dry forest types in over 75% do not happen deposition is represented by all the sub-watershed, except Wenondi sub-watershed with maximum erosion rate 51,364 kg/ha/hour, (2) category type bush/shrub and fields above 65 % do not happen surface erosion and deposition are represented by Tingguli sub-watershed and Watunonju sub-watershed
