Summary:Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder. Parents usually help them as the only caregiver at home. The lack of parents� resources in running their role as the caregiver make their well-being decline that is marked by the increasing of burden and that the reduction o life satisfaction. This study was aimed to increase the parents resources to care for their family with schizophrenia using brief psychoeducation intervention. The intervention was done using single case experiment with A-B-A design. The result indicated that program BANGKIT can improve the life satisfaction and reduce burden of caregivers for people with schizophrenia. The improvement was followed by the increasing of positive mood and the decline of daily burden. Factors that influenced the increasing of life satisfaction were social support, the lack of symptoms and the lack of helps given, the increasing of self-esteem, optimism and the purpose of life.
