Description
Summary:River quality study in Indonesia uses commonly conventional method including physical, chemical and microbiological aspects. The measurement is considered less describing pollution for biota life in river because it doesnt involve biological (environment) aspect. The research was intended to study river quality with toxicity test using animal test of carp fish (Cyprinus carpio Linn) and shrimp (Macrobrachium rosenbergii de Man) as bioindicator and doing statistical test, to look for relationship between toxicity test data and river quality measurement consisting of TDS, pH, DO, BOD5, and KMnO4. The research used toxicity test with AOD (Aquatic Organism Environmental Diagnostic) method. AOD method consist of two parts: (1) freezing water sample with concentrations of 180%, 320%, 560%, 1000%, and 1800%
