Description
Summary:A critical success factor is a factor which an organization must have to be able reaching the goal. By knowing a critical success factor, an organization could focus the resources they have to reach the goal. This study aims to empirically test the eleven critical success factors of the e-Procurement implementation, which is stated by Vaidya, et al. (2006). Would the eleven critical success factors have the positive effect towards the e-Procurement implementation in PT. Pertamina (Persero). E-procurement refers to the use of internet based information and communication technology to apply all procurement stages process including sourcing, negotiation, receiving, and vendor review before purchasing (Croom & Brandon, 2004). From this study, there were two hypothesis which do not affect the critical success factor of the e-procurement implementation in PT. Pertamina (Persero), those two hypothesis were the receiving correction process and management changes. The other nine hypothesis affect the e-Procurement implementation in PT. Pertamina (Persero), those hypothesis were the end user receiving, adoption by the supplier, best practice process, system integration, document security and authenticity, performance measurement, top management support, implementation strategy, and communication standard.
