The objective of present research is to analyze effect of axial flow on flow pattern and torque characteristic in Taylor-Couette flow using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method. Research set on radius ratio 0.714 and aspect ratio 10 with varying tangential Reynolds number 49 - 3144 and axial Reynolds number 8 - 63. The commercial software Fluent 6.3 was used to solve three dimensional computation domain with employing QUICK discretisation scheme and SIMPLE algorithm. Transitional flow was modeled with k � � transitional model.
