Until now there are many cases of M. tuberculosis resistance to primary choice anti tuberculosis drugs (ATD). To overcome this problem requirig provision of drug sensitivity data for the clinician. Objective : This study aim to determine the pattern of M. tuberculosis resistance to anti- tuberculosis drugs such as Isoniazid , rifampicin , streptomycin and Ethambutol. Methods : A total of 44secondary data taken from the Laboratory of Microbiology of the Faculty , then analyzed descriptively to determine the resistance patterns of M. tuberculosis to primary choice ATD . Results : This study showed that M. tuberculosis resistance happen to all ATD, respectively, Ethambutol ( 68.18 % ), Isoniazid 0.2 grams ( 45.45 % ), Isoniazid 1μg/ml ( 34.09 % ), rifampicin and streptomycin ( respectively 29.54 % ) . Based on clinical criteria, there are cases of MDR - TB (25 %) , poly - resistant (22.72 %) and mono � resistant (36%). Based on resistance to the combination of ATD amount, resistance to 1 ATD, 2 ATD , 3 ATD and 4 ATD respectively counts 36.36 % , 20.44 % , 11.35 % and 15.90 % . Conclusion : resistance to Ethambutol was the highest case among other primary choice ATD . Based on the number of combinations of ATD , resistance to 1 ATD is the most frequently occurring case compared with the other combinations of ATD amount.
