Archives are important information source for administration and management of an institution. This research was conducted in Perpustakaan FT UGM. Existing archiving method applied by Perpustakaan FT UGM was conventional. The number of archive continually increased this require extra storage. In this work, new archiving method using SharePoint collaboration technology was proposed. SharePoint is a web-based collaboration platform capable of managing data like document, audio, video, and images. The result of this research is, that SharePoint can increases employee productivity. Employee productivity can be measured from how an employee can still working without depending on time and place. SharePoint can manage different kind of archives like text, audio, and video. SharePoint allows users to share information and archives with other users rapidly and easy in a computer network.
