October 21,2012, started from the spread of abduction issue through short message/bbm and word to mouth in Lombok, there are sadistic and brutal riots of Lombok society to the suspect of abduction, resulting in five deaths in four different places in Lombok Island. Questionable, why violence is often a popular propaganda Lombok society amid the emergence of a latent sara danger conflict between Lombok society-Sasak and Hindu society-Bali today. Johan Galtung on triangle theory states that violence directly visibled is affected by hidden violence structurally and culturally. In analyzing and finding the violence phenomena cause in Lombok, author uses description qualitative analytical methods relying on semi-structured interviews and observations in the field data collection. Based on facts on the field, if associated with four concept of power expressed by Galtung, violence in Lombok has morphed into a culture, caused by old revange and prejudices from Lombok-Sasak and Hindu-Bali conflict since Bali Monarchy occupation. The development of kafitui stigma (mortal enemies) against Hindu society-Bali, shifting traditional patron to religious patron are switching patterns to leadership party, and supported by foreign capitalism domination, then bring an imperialism sense of Lombok society-Sasak to the superiority of Hindu society-Bali in Lombok. Strain conflict energies need to be revealed from time to time . It takes active role, traditional patrons support, educational institutions and government concern in every reconciliation stage.
