Summary:This research aims to determine the information that is misleading according to the legislation. Knowing Bapepam action if no information is misleading and knows a remedy if the investor made a victim of misleading information. This research is normative, which includes the study of the principles, rules, understanding the law and various legal sources or materials relating to the legal protection of investors as consumers in the capital market as a result of misleading information. The results of this research are as follows: 1. Misleading information in accordance with the laws of capital markets is an information that is not properly convey material facts or does not contain information about the material facts in accordance with the capital market. Under section 93 of the Act. No. 8 of 1995 regarding Capital Market prohibits a person who in any way to make a statement or provide information that is materially false or misleading, that could affect the stock price on the Stock Exchange. 2.
