S.Si, M.Si ETD One of the geophysical methods used in sea subsurface mapping is seismic 2D method. Research using this method was conducted in map sheet 48 area. This area has total 22 lines. Seismic data that were used for processing were from �JKT� line, with line direction from north to south and 200 km of line length, and from �AKB� line, with line direction from north to south and 210 km of line length. Seismic data were processed until stack procedure. Stack procedures that were used are Common Depth Point (CDP) stack and Common Reflection Surface (CRS) stack. Stack is a process that summed all seismic amplitudes in the same travel time curve. CDP stack use Normal Move Out (NMO) correction and this correction needs velocity model. This velocity model can be obtained using velocity analysis by operator/user so that operator error factor is large enough in this process. CRS stack use all seismic gather and don�t need velocity model, so that operator error factor can be reduced. Seismic section that was obtained from CDP stack at line �JKT� compared with the result that was obtained from CRS stack. Seismic section from CRS stack has a better resolution than CDP stack so that reflectors, debris structure, and heights structure in this line can be seen more clearly. Than seismic section that was obtained from CDP stack at line �AKB� compared as well. Reflectors and heights structure can be seen clearly at seismic section that was obtained from CRS stack.
