Yogyakarta formerly nicknamed as city bikes , most of the population uses bicycles as a means of daily transportation - today . But this time only a small part of Yogyakarta residents who still use bicycles as transportation day - day . In addition to the loss of bicycle users in Yogyakarta , in addition, with the city's traffic situation increasingly chaotic , the level of awareness for safe driving on the road is very low . Be it cars , motorcycles and bicycles . Therefore Yogyakarta Cycling Center will act to restore the city of Yogyakarta into a bike and instill safe driving to the people of the city, and used as a Landmark of Yogyakarta city bike .
