Industrial activity is one of sectors that make positive contribution to the economyin Kabupaten Magetan. Sector industry has a high priority industries include handycrafts and gift, it need to be developed in accordance with its potential.With the wide variety of data related to handycraft and gift industriesin Kabupaten Magetan need management of spatial data and attribute data. Effort to management this data whit developed GIS based information system applicationsfor handycraft and gift industries. The information system is expected to be help �Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kabupaten Magetan� in data management of industrial crafts and giftin Kabupaten Magetan. This information system based on spatial data in form of thematic maps in Kabupaten Magetan, data attributes such as data on the craft industry information and gift, and additional data in the form ofcraft industry and gift industries photographs. These three typesof datawere managedin adigitaldatabaseformatwith ArcGISandMs. Access software and Visual Studio 2008. The final result of this project is the application for handycraft and giftindustries information system Kabupaten Magetan. This information system can show the spatial information, attributes information and images of industrial handycraft and gift in Kabupaten Magetan.The application were facilited by several menus to search such as industrial area, inserting new data, and data editing.
