Summary: | Language is the one of so many ways to have an interaction in social
community. One of language�s factor is speech level. Speech level is the one of
important things to have an interaction with other people. This research is
analyzed about Korean speech level which had found in teenager�s Korean novel
�Saekhom Dalkheom Beikheori� (SDB).
This research�s purpose is to know speech levels in Korean and it�s
changing factors. The another purpose is to know speech level which always used
by Korean people, especially used by teenagers. Speech level is analyzed with
Korean speech level rule. Then speech level�s changing factor is analyzed with
sociolinguistic and pragmatic.
Speech level in novel SDB is changed by many factors, such as age factor,
siblings factor, close relationship faktor, and situation factor. But those factors
didn�t give big influence to someone�s manners in his social live. There are 6
kinds of speech level in Korea, but there just 5 kinds which showed in here. From
5 kinds of speech level, teenagers is using 4 of them.
Through this research, people who study about Korea will have more
understanding how to use Korean language and know the changing factors inside
it. |
