Sentence functionally consist of subject, predicate, and object. It is known three level forms of analyses: functional, categorial, and semantic. In Arabic language, the filler of khabar could be verb/fi'l or noun/ism, such as Masdar ism, ism fa'il, and ism maf'Å«l. A study on the category of constituent filler in noun clause was found in the novel. This research is identifying and explaining noun behavior as a constituent that fills noun clause in the novel. This study using syntactic theory to analyze the correlation between word and group of words in the sentences. Based on that theory found that noun as a filler of khabar in noun clause is behave as its verb.
