The mosque is a noble house of Allah, which contains those who bow down and prostrate to Allah SWT. Their activities in the mosque is not only to ritual worship but also social worship such as educational activities, sympathizing poor people even preparing strategy of war which the Prophet Muhammad ever did. Universitas Gadjah Mada is part of Yogyakarta city that has a campus mosque inside and always experiencing dynamic development of Islamic activities center. This study is focus to identify any factors of place which affecting people to do Islamic activities in UGM. This factors become something that is important to see how the connection between the places for Islamic activites with its development so the place function become more optimized. From the results of the study has found 4 factors that influence the development of Islamic activities center at Universitas Gadjah Mada, namely 1) the accessibility factor towards the center of Islamic activities, 2) the condition place factor of Islamic activities center, 3) the availability factor of Islamic activities place, and 4) place requirement of Islamic activities . Accesibility factor influence the ease of visitors to access the center of Islamic activities. Condition factor influence of visitor comfort in using Islamic activities place. While the availability and place requirements of Islamic activities influence the dynamics of the spread of Islamic activities. The fourth of these factors influence the dynamics of the development of Islamic activities that exist at Universitas Gadjah Mada. This study concluded that every period has its advantages and disadvantages, so as to optimize the function of Islamic activities center should pay attention to these factors.
