| Summary: | A lot of conflict happened at the border, one of them when the implementation of border development policy in the village Jagoi Babang, West Borneo. Cases conflict with society, no further construction of buildings in border area, and development left with other regions into several form implementation in the border. The case with the public often result in the customary law applicable to society, as the case of making road construction survey and Sei Take electric pole. Some programs also do not run up due to inadequate communication between the implementing policy conducted. Cases relief fund the Gawai event, unsustainability employee housing, and sustainability of the Development Office of the border are some of the cases that appear in the Jagoi Babang. These cases resulted in the maximum results of implementation and not detailed program sustainability. Things should be done to maximize the implementation of community involvement is a locality in collecting and processing of information about the border region.Involvement was done by means of making a container for implementation actors to communicate and information sharing such as a focus group discusion or gathering involving people who have a great influence in that region. |
