Summary:Advance development of Information and Communication Technology nowadays enable the spread of various forms of information including digital image. This is a risk that must be faced, namely the security of information and the validity of the copyright or ownership of a digital image. Masking methods in digital image processing is a technology to keep the information and copyrights on an image. In this study tested various types of 9x9 pixel image to kernel the form of numbers Sudoku. With this filtering method only certain parties who have the right code Sudoku kernel that can restore the image to obtain the actual image information. In this research, has made programs for filtering and restoration. In the examination of cameraman image, error conquered on filtered image with MSE up to 143.0217. Then it restored so that produce a new image with MSE value only 3.6181 which looks like the origin in plain view.
