Disposal is a reduction by moving the record file that has decreased the frequency of use of unit processing / Central File to the archival unit / Records Center, destroy files that have been depleted and no worth to the retention order, submit files that have historical value / permanent to archival institutions. Therefore absolute disposal performed by creators to avoid the accumulation of records and records store waste infrastructure. PKL report aims to determine the Implementation of the records disposal in the secretariat of Pusat Pengelolaan Ekoregion Jawa (PPEJ) Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup. Implementation of disposal did by record Secretariat at survey which was conducted on some stages: the stage of assessment, stage of arrangement and storage of the list of archives. Literature studies are the method to collect the data which seek legal reference books and products related to the depreciation of the archive. The second method is observation � participation which is conduct research and participates directly in the activities of the organization. The third method is the interview. Interviews were conducted to the archivists and staff at the concerned institution. The last method is the documentation that is taking photograph the stages of implementation as proof of PKL. The conclusion of this report is the implementation of the record for the disposal was not done procedurally. Therefore PKL provides an example implementation of the procedural record disposal arranging from survey stage to produce the archive box containing destroyed valuable archives and deleted permanently. Care and maintenance of archives have not been implemented. It did not have archival unit / Records Center so that records accumulate in the Secretariat.
