Description
Summary:Eucalyptus pellita F. Muell is fast growing tree species that has been developed in Hutan Tanaman Industri (HTI) for raw materials of pulp and papers supplies in Indonesia. Research of wood anatomy consisted of cells' proportions and fibers' dimensions is needed to ascertain the quality of plus tree from second generations progeny trial of E. pellita, for raw materials of pulp and papers. The purpose of this research is to ascertain the best tree for raw materials of pulp and papers as a genetic material for the third generations progeny trial of E. pellita. Research is conducted by drilling 60 living/standing trees at 9 years old which was the results of second generations progeny trial from Wonogiri whose seeds came from different family and provenance. Parameters has been observed were wood cells' proportions, consist of vessels, vascular parenchym, rays cell, and fibers
