Writing of the Final Report uses the theme The Arrangement of Records in Bidang Umum dan SDM PT. TASPEN (Persero) Branch Yogyakarta. The purpose of this report is to know and to understand the methods and systems used in arrangement of records in the Bidang Umum dan SDM PT. TASPEN (Persero). The arrangement of records in Bidang Umum dan SDM is done by using chronological system and grouped by similar problem. Prior do the arrangement, there are several steps that must be done starting from the sorting, grouping, system implementing, arrangement in order, manufacturing and pasting labels in order, orderly placing in a glass cabinet, and making a list of temporary file descriptions. As for the records of employees� personal files, the organization is based on the subject not the staff�s number. The process of data collection in this final project uses three methods. The first is observation and participation method, which is a data collection using reviewing the author directly or look at the situation in the PT. TASPEN (Persero) and the writer participates in activities at PT. TASPEN (Persero). The second method is an interview that the writer conducts an interview to the staffs and employees PT. TASPEN (Persero) in order to obtain a lot of information to complete the writing of this final project. The third is literature review method which is a data and information collection through library materials. The main conclusion of this final report is in the records of Bidang Umum and SDM, the entire organization is good enough. But the process is still less than the maximum because of limited human resources, lack of knowledge about the records organization correctly, and limited facilities as well as a space or a place to store the records.
