Summary: | Tayuman (Bauhinia purpurea) is a vegetation which planted by people at
Banaran village as food and Green Grass Feeding that usually used as border
tress. Tayuman is a species from Leguminosae which have characteristic as a fast
growing, evergreen, and the leaf that liked by cattles. This research about border
trees of Tayuman at Banaran is purposed to find the management that people do,
knowing the length growth of Tayuman�s bud and make a palnning management
for continuously border tress of Tayuman.
The research method is conducted by taking primary data including :
interview with some people of Banaran Village and measuring the length growth
of the Tayuman�s bud in three different yard , also the secondary data from
literaturs contain : topography, type of soil, and the climate of research site.
Primary and secondary data is used as judgement in making planning management
of border tress.
The result of this research shows that management of border tress which
people do as vegetables provider and green grass feeding is not considered the
optimaly management and continuously result (harvest). Length growth of the bud
in Tayuman border trees management at Banaran, Gunung Kidul reach an amount
about 5 cm/weeks till 9.15 cm/weeks. Continously border trees management of
Tayuman is pursued by a rotation system with coppice technique. |
