Online supermarket can be a solution, one that is eMart Indonesia. As progress continues, there are some problems appear, one of which is the number of customers who do not order directly through the website but they order through SMS one. However, there is no application that can read the SMS messages to determine the desired items. This research builds a web based aplication that can extract information from SMS messages so that it can be expressed as a direct order from customer without having an order manually through the existing website. This application will take the value of the quantity and the name of each item ordered without giving specific writing formats to the user. Determination of goods is done with the method of strings matching using Levenshtein Algorithm. But SMS message is a the raw data that contains not only the information required, so it needs to be cleaned by using preprocessing data method prior to matching strings. The result shows high success rate based on testing SMS data obtained from writing pattern SMS order survey.
