One issue implementation of WSN is monitoring intensity that requiring user to observe the monitoring system at any time. This research is intended to study how and what consideration to implement SIP as a media to transfer WSN data. The system is designed by applying all of SIP concept transferring sensor data to mobile user. The research was established by designing system prototipe that base on SIP as a media communication. Abnormal event of object which be monitored by WSN was assumed by a threshold on gateway. The implementation of system, there are several component which underlying the system on implementation SIP as media communication of sensor data, such as wireless sensor, gateway, SIP server, and smartphone. The reliability of SIP in delivery a sensor data is measured by delivery time of SIP packet and maximum capacity of packet that can be carried by SIP message According the prototype, the number and capacity of sensor data that loaded into SIP packet affect the SIP message arrival time delay. The average time delay between the arrival of SIP message with standar bandwidth on 3G networks is at 1.26 second. Average response time with standar bandwidth on 3G networks from sensor to smartphone at 3.48 second and average response time of accepting to showing sensor data is 3.4 seconds.
