Summary: | PT . Perusahaan Listrik Negara ( Persero ) Distribution of Lampung is a State
Owned Enterprise (BUMN) which plays an important role in the process of fulfilling
the electricity in this country . PT . PLN ( Persero ) Distribution of Lampung itself not
only provide electricity but also ensure the material required for the electrical
conduction process in accordance with the needs of society or the consumer . The
problem that arises is the incompatibility of the level of demand for material with
availability of material that has become commonplace .
This research was conducted at PT . PLN ( Persero ) Distribution of Lampung
especially Area Office Tanjung Karang. The material under study, is the main material
required for installation or new electrical installations to residential house, is Twisted
Low Voltage Cable with a size 2 � 10 mm2and kWh meter . The study begins with
the collection of data , followed by the determination of the pattern of the data and the
selection of the most appropriate forecasting method . Then do the forecasting of
material requirements by using a forecasting method that has the lowest error value .
After the results obtained , the next step is calculation of safety stock and reorder point
for each material in each Branch. Then the last step is to determine the inventory control
system that accordance with the most optimal material characteristics and policies of
the applicable stock in the company .
Based on the analysis conducted , the results showed that each material has a
pattern of data that is stationary , so the method according to the pattern of data and
number of data are Naïve method , Moving Average Method , Single Exponential
Smoothing and ARIMA . Then based on the results of forecasting demand calculation
of safety stock and reorder point , which for safety stock calculation is done using the
service level of 95 % . the most optimal system of inventory control for both material
is using Economic Order Quantity |
