Description
Summary:Mixture agroforestry common in Indonesia grows conventionally. This is shown by the mixture agroforestry tends to show a large amount of trees with small diameter. In agroforestry system, space arrangement is less amended. Random mixture system is one of agroforestry system which is the common system used by land owner in Nglanggeran. In order to gain more information about characteristic of vegetation and space in mixture agroforestry system, a research has been conducted. This research was conducted at Nglanggeran Kulon, Patuk, Gunung Kidul. Data were taken from 30 plots selected by purposive sampling method. The plots were taken had to be random mixture agroforestry. Species biodiversity was also considered. Data were taken from observing tree vegetations in nested sampling plots. In this research, data were analyzed with software sexi-fs and software excel. The research showed that the random mixture agroforestry at Nglanggeran was structured by stands from 16 species which were dominated by Swietenia macrophylla. Stand density generally classified low to middle with the highest Important Value Index (IVI) on the seedling (Dalbergia latifolia) was 98.45%
