In the first step of this research, total and dissolved phosphorus concentration were analysed, using UV-Vis Spectrophotometry method and ammonium molybdovanadat as complexing agent. The second step was coagulation process using FeCl3.6H2O and precipitation process using Ca(OH)2. In this step, the influences of slow stirring time, pH, FeCl3.6H2O and Ca(OH)2 dosages have been evaluated. The result of study shows that the maximum coagulation was obtain at slow stirring time of 30 minutes, pH 9, and dosages at Fe(III):P molar ratio 3:1, and the maximum precipitation was obtain at slow stirring time of 30 minutes, pH 12, and dosages at Ca(II):P molar ratio 4:1. The coagulation and precipitation processes can decline the total phosphorus concentration until 97,04% using FeCl3.6H2O and 98,14% using Ca(OH)2. It is also find that Ca(OH) 2 shows more effective to reduce phosphorus concentration than FeCl3.6H2O does.
