Summary:Modeling is a method to construct three-dimensional images to a research subject, particularly in the oil and gas industry, and in the exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbon, the research object is the reservoirs rocks. The modeling to build a visual simulation looks lively on the real. For the reasons above the topic of this thesis be collected as �Geological Modeling for Miocene Stratum, Cuu Van oilfield, Cuu Long Basin, Viet Nam� to improve the result of exploration processing on Cuu Van oilfield which have specific characteristics of Miocene Stratum, Cuu Long basin . The model is built according to the datum of 10 wells drilled including: BGG- 1X,BG-1X, BG-2X (BG-2X-PL, BG-2X-Dev, BG-2X-ST), BG-3X , BG-4X, BG-5X-PL, BG-5X and BG-6X. Approximately 2,803 km of 2D seismic data has been reprocessed to apply modern processing algorithms to improve the quality of data and images. Two types of subsurface maps would be resulted for this research. Those maps are facies and petrophysics distribution.
