Description
Summary:Career is more important in human life, since the teen phase, people need to be prepared and be helped to plan their future. One of the matters that need to be dealt with is the career. The concrete problems that happen in the field indicate that the students of class XI still cannot make decisions for the selection of further studies in higher education. The purpose of this study was to test \"PROSPEK\" module in improving decision-making skills related to further studies in higher education. The experimental design used was Untreated Control Group Design with Dependent Pretest and Posttest Samples. \"PROSPEK training was the independent variable while the decision-making skills about further studies in higher education was the dependent variable. Training subjects were 30 students, (divided into 14 students of experimental group and 16 students of control group), Career decision-making skills scale was used as the research instrument. Data analysis technique used a mixed ANOVA. The result showed that there is some increase in the selection decision-making skills for further study in the experimental group after training, as indicated by F = 44 354 ( P > 0.05 ). Training contribution indicated by partial Eta Squared shows 81.5 % as the score.
