| Summary: | Beggar is really closed meaning with the job for man but now its done by
women. Woman Beggar who was also a housewife including in the job market by
using traditional mechanisms, namely family ties (kinship) to obtain employment
opportunities that have been segmented. The woman beggars make a community
in their region, despite being a beggar full of uncertainty circumstances. Family
ties, kinship networks, the same gender and also the lowest grade in education in a
same village make of labor market segmentation. High incomes makes women in
the village change and stimulate their livelihood become beggar, and survive until
now so that mobility becomes low .
This study used an ethnographic approach and using the principles
contained in this approach is thick description . The data in the field that are
unique and distinctive use observation participant techniques that become pressure
point in this approach . In this study it was found that the appearance of woman
beggar in the labor market due to the crush of structurally related to low family
economic level, the female labor market segmentation becomes a necessity.
Female labor market segmentation occurs and it is because of wages , education
and low mobility as well as the same sex . The female labor market segmentation
arises because women are not able to freely choose employment, as well as the
limited scope of the working women because there are barriers of social
engineering. Being a musician (women beggar) is the answer for women to be
included in the segmented labor market as well as an alternative in order to
answer economic necessity.Labor market segmentation in economic activity that
has been formed in turn limit the movement of workers in the labor market
making it difficult for them to change the fate . The formation of a community
effort to keep their jobs so not easily accessible to the others.
