Yogyakarta as city of culture and city of student indeed is famous with its progressive tourism sector. Yogyakarta also still holds the traditional values which the government is centered in Keraton. Yet, Yogyakarta also keeps up with the more rapidly evolution. In this digital era, people looks like being enchanted with technology. All information could be accessed through the internet. Tourism sector is developing as well. Models of tourism portal launched one by one. Following this trend, GudegNet portal is born as solace for tourist (reader) who needs information about Yogyakartatourism. GudegNet is an online media that gives information and news about Yogyakarta tourism. Various tourism news published in this portal, diverse tourism objects are chosen. As a portal that have reporter staff, they write the tourism news in various kind among others hard news, soft news, and feature. On that basis, the researcher wanted to find out how framing analysis applied on tourism news article of GudegNet portal. Another purpose of this research is to describe the characteristic of tourism news article of GudegNet portal. Meanwhile the main purpose of this research is to know which one is the most favorite article with the most reader, and to know factors that make the reader found the article interesting. This research used qualitative method based on researcher participation in writing tourism news, statistic data of portal visit by Google Analytics application, also result of framing analysis of Pan and Kosicki model. From over all the statistic result by Google Analytics application and framing analysis of Pan and Kosickimodel, the one which has the most reader of 14 visitors is news article titled �Rumah Batik Kenalkan Warisan Budaya pada Anak�. Readers found this article interesting because of the topic, also the feature characteristic in the article which are creative, informative, entertain, and lasting. Although the feature style in this article is still the modest, it has already comply the criteria of media online news among others brief, unadorned, also short lead and paragraph.
